International Championship Participation Terms
Version 1.1 · Effective date 2026-09-27
1. Seller and agreement
These Terms apply to a paid entry in a NEW LEGENDA Championship where the checkout identifies SUNSARA GROUP (PTY) LTD, registration number 2026/579917/07, as the seller (“we”, “us” or “our”). The company’s registered address is 89 George Street, Suite 2168, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7140, South Africa. Contact: sunsarasuvorova@gmail.com.
The agreement consists of these Terms, the order summary, the Payment and Refund Policy, and the Championship Rules for the specific Championship or stage selected at checkout. The Rules must be available before payment and state the relevant dates, nominations, eligibility requirements, submission instructions, assessment criteria, result process, complaint or review procedure and awards.
The seller named in the checkout is responsible for the order. A payment provider processes the payment but does not replace the seller. The Russian segment has a separate seller and separate terms. A change of website language alone does not change the seller for an existing order.
2. What the entry includes
Unless the order summary says otherwise, one entry covers one work in one selected nomination. It includes eligibility and submission checks, administration of the assessment process, access to the participant’s result and inclusion of that result in the event record.
Additional nominations or entries are separate purchases and must be shown separately in the order summary. An entry does not guarantee acceptance of a work that fails the published requirements, a particular score, a finalist position, a prize, public display or commercial exposure.
The specific Championship Rules determine the permitted work, required materials, deadlines, assessment process, ranking and awards. If a work is rejected, we will identify the relevant rule and, where the published timeline allows, give the participant an opportunity to correct the submission.
3. Price, discount and payment
International Championship entry prices are denominated in US dollars (USD). The starting price per nomination for the Winter 2027 stage is USD 59 during the Founders / First Participants period, USD 82 during Early Registration and USD 106 during Standard Registration. The checkout must identify the applicable registration period and display the exact price per nomination, quantity, payment currency, valid promotional discount, taxes or other charges, and total due before the participant places an order. If a checkout displays a payment currency other than USD, it must show the amount and currency before the participant confirms. An eligible manager or judge-candidate referral code gives one person a single USD 6 discount on that person’s first paid Championship order only. The discount applies once to the order total, not once per nomination, and does not apply to later orders or stages. It cannot be combined with another discount or promotional code. A manager code and a judge-candidate code provide the same discount; only one may be applied. The participant must review the final amount before payment.
Prices may change for future orders. A price change does not alter an order already confirmed. The payment is accepted only when confirmed by the payment provider and verified by us. We send an electronic order confirmation after verification. A failed, reversed or unverified payment does not confirm the entry.
4. Placing and confirming an order
Before paying, the participant can review and correct the Championship, nomination, entry quantity, contact details, applicable discount, currency and total price. The participant must be able to open and save these Terms, the applicable Championship Rules and the Payment and Refund Policy before confirming payment.
The participant places the order by actively accepting these Terms and the applicable Championship Rules and completing payment. Creating an account, entering a code, submitting an unpaid application or checking a box without payment does not by itself create a paid entry.
After payment is verified, we confirm the order electronically and retain the version of the documents accepted with that order. The entry remains subject to the published eligibility and submission requirements. If we cannot provide the paid entry, we will refund the unprovided service in accordance with the Payment and Refund Policy and applicable law.
5. Participant submissions and materials
The participant must submit their own work or have authority to submit it, meet the published deadlines and provide accurate information. The participant is responsible for obtaining any rights and permissions required for the work and for identifiable people shown in it.
The participant retains the rights they hold in their work. The Submission and Image Permissions document describes the limited permission needed to receive, store and show the work to authorised administrators and judges for assessment. Public gallery display, publication of an identifiable person’s image and promotional use are separate uses and require the permissions stated in that document or another lawful basis.
Submitting a work for closed assessment does not by itself authorise its use in advertising. A participant who does not select an optional promotional permission may still receive the assessment and result. The Championship Rules state whether public gallery display is required for a particular award or voting feature.
6. Assessment, recommendations and results
Works are assessed under the published Championship Rules. The Rules govern eligibility, assignment of judges, assessment criteria, scoring, ranking, ties, conflicts of interest, viewer voting where offered, publication of results and requests to review a result.
Invited experts may voluntarily provide recommendations only for selected works made available to them. A recommendation is not guaranteed for every participant or work, and no minimum number or publication time is promised. Experts receive no fee, commission, discount, certificate or other benefit for recommendations. Recommendations are moderated and attributed to their authors in our administrative records. Their authors are not identified to the participant or judge in the recommendation panel. A participant sees a published recommendation after the assessment of their work is complete. A judge sees it after submitting their own assessment of that work. An expert recommendation is separate from the professional score and does not add to or change that score.
Audience votes, where offered, are governed by the Audience Voting Rules. Audience votes are recorded separately from professional judges’ scores and do not change them. Any audience-selected award is distinct from the professional ranking and must be identified in the applicable Championship Rules.
The paid service includes access to the participant’s result and recording of the result as described in the applicable Rules. Public announcement or display does not replace our obligation to make the participant’s result available to them.
7. Changes, postponement and cancellation
We will notify affected participants of a material delay or cancellation. We will not impose a materially different event, change the purchased nomination, or make a material change to the assessment criteria or essential dates for an existing order without an appropriate lawful basis or the participant’s agreement.
If we cancel the Championship and no acceptable replacement is agreed, the participant may request a refund for the service not provided. Any statutory remedy for deficient or late performance remains available.
8. Withdrawal and refunds
The participant may request cancellation before the published start of judging and receive a full refund of the entry fee. The applicable Rules disclose when judging begins.
After judging begins but before the service is complete, cancellation and any refund are handled under the Payment and Refund Policy and applicable mandatory law. Any amount retained must be permitted by law and explained by reference to the stage reached and services actually performed. Uploading a work or making a payment does not by itself make the fee non-refundable.
Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer’s statutory cancellation, refund, complaint or court rights. Where a statutory cancellation period or exception applies, it depends on the actual service, timing and facts and is handled under applicable law.
9. Responsibility
We will organise the paid entry with reasonable care and in accordance with the applicable published Rules. We do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The participant is responsible for accurate information, compliance with the submission requirements and the permissions needed for submitted material. We will review complaints about a work, image, score or process on their facts and under the applicable Rules. No automatic, unlimited indemnity is created by these Terms.
10. Contact and governing law
Send order questions, complaints and cancellation requests to sunsarasuvorova@gmail.com and include the order reference where available.
South African law governs these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections or access to a competent court or regulator available to a participant in their country.
