International Judge Programme Terms
Version 1.1 · Effective date 2026-09-27
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to an application for, and paid activation of, the NEW LEGENDA judge programme for a specific Championship stage where the checkout identifies SUNSARA GROUP (PTY) LTD, registration number 2026/579917/07, as seller. Registered address: 89 George Street, Suite 2168, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7140, South Africa. Contact: sunsarasuvorova@gmail.com.
The Judge Programme consists of these Terms, the stage information shown before payment, the applicable Championship Rules and the International Payment and Refund Policy. The candidate must actively accept these Terms before paying. The programme is for one stage only. A later stage requires a new activation under the price and conditions displayed for that stage.
2. Qualification and application
A candidate must enter a valid judge invitation code, select the nominations for which they apply, and upload at least one of their own completed works showing a healed result for each selected nomination. The samples are submitted for internal qualification review only. They are not published or used for promotion without separate permission.
The Platform checks that required fields and files are present. An authorised administrator reviews professional suitability within five business days after a complete application is submitted. The administrator may approve selected nominations, request corrections, or reject the application and give a reason. If no correction request or decision is sent within five business days, a complete application is deemed approved for the selected nominations. An invitation code alone does not establish qualification.
Only approved nominations may be judged. If only some nominations are approved, the candidate may proceed only for those nominations.
3. Programme fee and activation
The programme fee for one stage is USD 350. The fee, all referral credits and any remaining balance are denominated in USD. Before payment, the checkout must display the stage, USD amount payable and any applicable discount or credit.
A candidate can activate the programme by either:
(a) referring eligible participants who complete paid Championship purchases through the candidate’s personal referral link or code; or
(b) paying the remaining balance at any time.
Each eligible unique participant reduces the candidate’s remaining fee by USD 35. Ten eligible participant referrals cover the USD 350 stage fee in full. The candidate may use referrals and payment in any order, and may pay the remaining balance at any time. The Platform recalculates the balance in USD before each payment.
The candidate’s referral link or code gives a participant the same one-time USD 6 discount on that participant’s first paid Championship order described in the International Championship Participation Terms. The participant’s purchase is credited to the candidate once the payment is confirmed and verified.
The Platform counts one unique participant once only, regardless of how many nominations or orders that person buys, and across all stages. The candidate’s own purchases, unpaid registrations, failed or unverified payments do not count. A refund before activation reverses that participant’s credit. An entered valid referral code determines attribution if it conflicts with a referral link; if no code is entered, a referral link is credited when the purchase is completed within 30 days after the link visit. The checkout or candidate dashboard shows the applicable attribution.
The stage’s referral and payment deadline is displayed in the candidate’s account. Purchases after that deadline do not reduce the balance for that stage. Judging access opens only after the balance reaches zero through qualifying referrals and/or confirmed payment.
Once the candidate has paid the full remaining balance and activated, additional referrals do not create a refund, payment or credit for a later stage. If an attributed participant payment is refunded after activation and the candidate’s credited referrals plus programme payments then fall below the full USD 350 stage fee, judging access is paused until the candidate replaces the qualifying referral or pays the resulting shortfall of USD 35 per missing eligible participant. No shortfall is created if the candidate’s confirmed programme payments already cover the full fee. This does not restrict the participant’s own statutory refund rights.
4. What activation provides
For the activated stage, the programme provides access to the judge dashboard, the voting or scoring functions for works assigned by the organiser, an on-platform judge profile, a judge profile graphic generated from the candidate’s submitted photograph, organiser messages and, subject to section 6, a co-authored promotional post on NEW LEGENDA’s official social-media account.
The organiser does not guarantee that a particular number of works will be assigned. The fee does not guarantee a score, award, audience reach, new students, business results or a particular public response. The judge receives no salary, judging fee, sales commission or other cash remuneration for judging.
5. Judging and completion
The organiser assigns works to approved judges for the approved nominations. The judge must assess each assigned work by the published deadline and follow the applicable Championship Rules, assessment criteria, confidentiality requirements and conflict-of-interest instructions. Assigned works may be used only for judging within the Platform.
The electronic judge certificate for the stage becomes available after the stage ends only if at least one work was assigned, the judge completes every assessment assigned to them by the applicable deadline, and the judge has not been disqualified. If no work was assigned or any assigned assessment is incomplete, no certificate is issued. Activation alone does not earn a certificate. The organiser may suspend access or remove a judge for false qualification information, unauthorised use or disclosure of works, vote or score manipulation, or a material breach of the Championship Rules or these Terms. The organiser will communicate the reason, subject to security and legal restrictions.
6. Judge profile and promotional publication
An active judge must provide accurate first and last name, city, approved nominations, a social-media profile link and a suitable photograph. The public judge card may display those details and the judge’s role. It remains in the Platform’s public archive for one year after the relevant stage.
The judge programme includes one co-authored promotional post on an official NEW LEGENDA social-media account using the judge’s profile graphic and approved profile details. As a condition of activation, the candidate grants SUNSARA GROUP (PTY) LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the candidate’s submitted profile photograph, first and last name, city, approved nominations, social-media profile link and judge role to create and display the public judge card and that one co-authored post. The public judge card remains on the Platform for one year after the relevant stage. The post may remain on the official social-media account only for the period disclosed when the candidate accepts the image and profile licence. The post and profile card must not include qualification samples unless the candidate separately permits that use. No broader advertising, sponsor use or endorsement is included.
Before activation, the application and payment screens must clearly disclose this publication feature and collect the specific image and profile permissions required by applicable law. A general acceptance of these Terms or the Privacy Notice is not a substitute for a separate permission where the law requires one. Publication duration, channels and withdrawal handling are subject to the permissions recorded and mandatory law.
7. Cancellation, postponement and refunds
The programme fee is for one stage. If the stage is postponed, the candidate’s confirmed payment and qualifying referral progress transfer to the rescheduled stage without a new activation fee. If the stage is cancelled without a replacement date, the paid amount and progress may be transferred to another stage selected by the candidate, subject to mandatory law and the options presented by the organiser.
A candidate’s voluntary withdrawal after activation does not by itself entitle them to a refund. The absence or number of assigned works, a score, ranking, award or expected promotional reach does not by itself create a refund entitlement. If the organiser does not provide the programme or materially changes it, remedies are determined under the Payment and Refund Policy and applicable mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms excludes a non-waivable consumer right.
8. Privacy and contact
Personal information used for applications, referral attribution, payments, judging, the judge profile and publication is handled under the Privacy Notice. Questions, complaints or cancellation requests may be sent to sunsarasuvorova@gmail.com. Do not email passwords or complete payment-card details.
9. Governing law
South African law governs these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections or access to a competent court or regulator available to the candidate in their country.
